Liquid explosive, severe thunderstorms, the death of punctuation, and the looming threat of Hottentotts to the North.
I watched the news this morning-never a good idea-and they had one of the those funny things you only see on the morning shows. So the two NBC/Today show anchors switch to the news desk where they show death, distruction, horror. In addition to the terror alert brouhaha. A bunch of Israeli soldiers were killed. There were more suicide bombings in Baghdad. There is a tsunami that has killed a few people in southeast Asia. Then they give the weather. Nice day in New York. They come back to the anchors who are sharing a big grin and making small talk about how happy they are that it is going to be a nice weekend.
The fuck?
It's like their bad news circuits have completely burned out and they can't even process the negative any more.
And I am very bitter about not being at the Tom Waits show last night.
